Bio
Hertfordshire based musician, Michael King is an acoustic guitarist and singer from Hitchin, Hertfordshire. A self-penned singer/songwriter, he is available for private events including garden parties, pubs, clubs, stadiums, charity and corporate outings performing a number of acoustic covers and original songs.
The last few years, Michael has been busy performing throughout the UK, from being the resident musician at Saracens Rugby Club, playing Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Victorious Festival and of course his favourite whisky bar in Hitchin where it all started, The Angels' Share.
Further to this, Michael fronts original rock band Escape Route, turning his original acoustic songs into classic alternative rock songs, exploring further depth and anthemic sounds in a 4-piece outfit:
If you need an acoustic guitarist / singer playing your favourite hits from the 60's to present days, often playing songs you didn't even know you loved, and don't mind an upbeat looping drumming set, contact Michael directly for all bookings. Of course if you have a softer restaurant or wedding where you need some casual background music, the set can be calmed down to suit.
